Isle of Wight Festival (IOW) is one of the most anticipated events of the calendar year with thousands of revellers heading for the remote, idyllic island to turn it into one big party – and tickets for the 2011′s event are now on sale.
All sorts of different tickets are available now from day passes to full festival passes with camping for this great festival which kicks off on on 10 June 2010 for three nights.
The headline acts for next year will be hard-pressed to be beaten at any other summer festival with American rockers Foo Fighters, the amazing Tennessee four-piece Kings of Leon, the swaggering Kasabian and the return of legendary Britpop band, Pulp.
In 2010, Jay-Z stole the show with the US rapper headlining on the Friday night, with fellow New Yorkers The Strokes doing the honours on Saturday. Other acts included Pink, Blondie, Orbital and Squeeze.
Fans are being urged to buy tickets now to avoid the rush and the obvious sell-out – only so many can make it to the island!
